Disproportionate distribution that is often tender

Your concern
Lipedema is a chronic condition that is still too often mistaken for simple weight gain or cellulite. This page brings together Eclipse’s most useful guides, articles and solutions to help you better understand the symptoms, prepare for a consultation and build an appropriate comfort-focused routine.
Understand

Lipedema can be confused with obesity, cellulite, lymphedema or venous disease. No device or online questionnaire can replace an examination by a trained healthcare professional.
Compression, appropriate movement, skincare, symptom management and sometimes surgery may be discussed depending on the situation. Pneumatic compression should be considered a comfort-focused adjunct, never a cure.
